SOTIRIA Technology participates in REPMUS24

Our team spent 10 days in September in Troia Portugal to attend REPMUS exercise for the 3d year in a row. This year we partnered with the Portuguese Navy 🇵🇹 to demonstrate the capabilities of our systems on the field. The demonstration was co-funded by NATO DIANA.

Two distinct product setups were tested:

- a 100m underwater cabled node encompassing our 3D magnetometer and passive hydrophone, along with our underwater intelligence software.

- a cable-less autonomous node incorporating our Type S magnetometer which was deployed at 130+ meters depth in collaboration with the Oceanographic team of the Portuguese Navy.

SOTIRIA team had the honour to demonstrate and report the live performance of our cabled system to Admiral Gouveia e Melo (Chief of the Portuguese Navy), CEOM (Center for Maritime Operational Experimentation) Director Captain Mourinha, the Head of Innovation and Transformation Captain Piedade and expert Commanders and Industry representatives in Underwater Systems and Oceanography.
