Type M

The health monitoring expert for critical, national security steel infrastructure

Type M Hall Magnetic Sensor

Type M is a Hall magnetic sensor that is used to remotely monitor the localized residual stresses of critical steel infrastructure. Its energy consumption is minimized allowing for remote operation without the need for electric power.

Mission-Challenge-Photo 2.png

The existing technology in stress monitoring is limited to surface measurement instruments with high uncertainty detection levels

The sensing equipment that is commonly used to monitor the health of critical steel volumes, such as strategic armed forces assets and national security infrastructure, is targeting surface-only measurements with high uncertainty risk (>10%) and low measuring speeds (1-10s per point of measurement).

FEATURES

Compact design (Dimensions: 50*100mm)

Low consumption (<10mW) for excitation and data transmission

Remote sensing with no need for electricity supply

Integrated microcontroller & Analog to Digital converter

Network connection ready through RF transceiver
